Maths Week
17th Oct 2018
After last weeks storm we had a special maths challenge to carry out on Monday.
Harry the hedgehog's and Sammy the squirrel's houses were ruined and they needed our help!!
We had to hunt and gather big logs for the hedgehog's houses and small sticks for the squirrel's house. We used our mathematical language and sorting skills to do this. We also talked about how heavy the logs were! We think the animals are enjoying their new homes! Later in the week we will gather and sort coloured leaves to make beds for the animals before they hibernate. Thank you to Eoin's parents for donating lots of logs for us to use in Nursery!
Maths can be lots of fun!!!!
