Today each class visited the Glens of Antrim Medical Centre. The staff very kindly took time out of their busy schedules to give each of our classes a very special tour!
We waited patiently until the doctor called us in the waiting room. We met Sonia the receptionist, Nurse Colette and Doctor Brennan.
We bandaged sick teddies, helped diagnose sick animals and played games to help us learn all about the parts of our body in the treatment room.
The best surprise was a monkey called Polly was waiting on us in the doctors surgery and we had to use the doctor's medical equipment to check her eyes and ears. She felt much better after her treatment!
Each child was given a sticker, sweets and a special certificate after their visit. Thank you so much to all the staff at Glens of Antrim Medical centre for a truely memorable day for all the Nursery children! We would also like to thank the Mummies, aunts and grannies who volunteered to helped out today- without this support none of these trips would be possible! ☺️
